Trekking Pole Instruction
Length Adjustment
The most ergonomic and comfortable position is to keep your elbows at 90 degree of angle regardless of hiking uphill or downhill; you may need to extend the pole length while downhill traveling and the opposite direction during uphill hiking.

RapiLock Epic trekking pole includes a grip and 3-section-shaft which combines to a maximum length of 140cm. Do not adjust each pole length beyond the maximum line or adjust shaft lengths unequally. Check if the pole is steady during every period of hiking.
STRAP ADJUSTMENT
Trekking pole strap can help to release the pressure giving on the wrist during hiking. Make use the strap and the grip are both held in your hand while hiking; and practice to let go the trekking pole and it should not be blocking your way of reaching out.
ACCESSORIES
Place the GRIP CAP onto the trekking pole grip to increase the surface of handling and to decrease discomfort during downhill hiking. The STRAP HOLDER is use to steady the strap.

The BASKET is not only used to fasten the pole tip from falling but also to stop trekking pole sinking into gaps and leading to accidents. Pull the trekking pole out of the gap toward the direction of sinking.

Remove the WALKING TIP during forest hiking. Use tungsten steel tip to hike in the forest can improve the traction. When the trekking pole is not in use, replace the walking tip back to the sharp tip to avoid damage or accident.

*Corresponding Accessory can be found in the left figure.
